This Privacy Policy explains how TrueNightly, operated by Stellar Dweller, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).

Information we collect

When you book a stay, we collect the details needed to complete and confirm it: your name, email, the property, and your travel dates. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor; TrueNightly does not see or store full card numbers. When a property manager onboards, we collect business contact information and the credentials needed to connect their property management system and payout account. We also collect basic usage and device information to operate and secure the site.

How we use information

We use information to process and confirm bookings, to notify managers of bookings, to provide customer support, to operate and improve the Service, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations. We send transactional messages such as booking confirmations; these are not marketing.

How we share information

To complete a booking we share the necessary details with the property manager who hosts it, so they can honor your reservation. We share payment information with Stripe to process payments and payouts. We use service providers (such as hosting and email delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Property management systems

Inventory, availability, rates, and reservation records are maintained in each manager’s own property management system (PMS). When you book, we transmit the reservation to that PMS. Data held in a manager’s PMS is governed by that manager’s own practices.

Data retention and security

We retain booking and account records as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and accounting requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and keep it secure (for example, an admin session cookie). We do not use advertising trackers.
